Senior Advisor Volunteer Attraction

I work as part of the Volunteer Resilience leadership team to ensure the sustainability of FENZ’s Volunteerism Strategy 2019-29.

I am responsible for volunteer attraction strategic development and advice, data analysis and forecasting, resource creation and guidance, campaign development, advertising, social media, events, position description development, staff recruitment and leadership of a team and projects.

Additionally, I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement volunteer support strategies.

Key achievements:

  • Increased support for volunteer brigades by 300% in 2022 from 2021

  • Led the development of a range of resources and guidance for volunteer brigades and FENZ support staff

  • Appointed to multiple working and advisory groups as an attraction, volunteer and marketing subject matter expert

  • Developed effective campaigns, advertising, social media and events that led to increased engagement with businesses and the general community

  • Built strong relationships with colleagues nationally, with external stakeholders and with volunteers
